Kinda Disappointed! (Stretch Marks)

After having 2 kids, my stomach, hips and lower back are riddled with stretch marks. They are mainly silver but very deep and will never fully go away. I am completely okay with this.
There is a very popular thread on the boards lately where people are posting their "ideal body". When I tried to find pictures of beautifully toned bodies with stretch marks, this is all I found.

To me, these bodies are GORGEOUS! I would love to have either one of them. But these are the only 2 photos I could find of healthy bodies with stretch marks! Kind of upset me!

    I don't even have kids, but have stretch marks because of my growth spurt when I was a kid...this will be the first summer in a bikini so I will have to see if I am self-conscious over them

    I want, for just one day, the see the 'before photoshop' version of every image that passes my way!

    Don't be disheartened, nearly every image you see these days are photoshopped to look the way the art director wants them to look, so 10 bucks says half of those toned belly photos had stretch marks on them originally :)

    These bodies look great to me, and I have stretch marks too, nothing we can do about em.......they are there for life.

    oh ps, i photoshop for a living, so i know how many i take off girls!!!

    Some of mine are a result if pregnancy, some aren't. Mine are really deep now that I've lost weight and some the color is almost a purple. Do I mind them, not to much, and I would be lying to say I'm not a little self conscious about them and what others think. But in the end, it's not others opinions that matter to me but I AM proud of the fact that I've lost a lot of weight and they come with the package. Take me or leave me.

    There was a girl that posted 30ds pics the other day. She looked awesome and did have many post pregnancy stretch marks. I also have them, though mine are below my belly button and not too bad, they have faded a lot. When I get to a weight that I think I look good in a bikini, you better believe I'm gonna rock it! Stretch marks and all!

    It has been 13 years since I wore a bikini and I will wear one again!

    I have stretchmarks and I wear a bikini! I have a pic on my profile. I like to call them my tiger stripes! Rawr! lol
    No one really notices them but ourselves.

    Ahhh I've never met anyone else who thinks this! I love mine, too! I also call them my tiger stripes!!!!! Or my litle lightning bolts, pew pew pew!

    I am sort of proud of mine - I carried a 10 pound 11 ounce baby in my belly! I was 61" around! Though now that I'm losing weight, they are becoming way more pronounced - My belly is so bumpy feeling - like a textured globe!
