    Noland.

    It's a very old family name, traces back to O'Naulin in the clan days of Ireland. It changed as people migrated towards the US. First the 'O' was dropped for Naulin, then once it came to the US, it was written down as Nolan by immigration. Somewhere down the line the 'd' was added for Noland.

    Meridith.....I used it for my daughter's middle name but changed the spelling to Meredith for hers. I like it ok I guess.
