Best snack secret: Frozen veggies!

I have done this since I was a little kid, and many people think I'm strange for liking them, but one of my go-to snacks is eating frozen veggies, in their still-frozen form (often straight out of the bag). While they're still frozen you can eat them with your hands, and since I am constantly snacking, it's a good way to cut calories. My favorites are frozen sweet corn and shelled edamame, but green beans and peas are also good too!

Does anyone else do this, or am I the only one?

What are your other low-cal snack secrets?

I've never taken a bag of frozen veggies out for the sheer purpose of snacking on them but it's not a bad idea! I have eaten a frozen kernal or two of corn that escaped my boiling water on the stove before and it's good but I'm not a fan of frozen green beans at all. Frozen peas sound good tho.

I've found it's helpful for me because I have trouble with wanting to snack all the time -- specifically while I'm sitting at my desk studying, which I do a lot because I'm a law student.

The shelled edamame is great -- it's a little higher in calories and fat, but is a great source of both protein and fiber. It's a little harder to find, but is carried at both whole foods and trader joe's
