here's mine and I love them!!!
2 c quick oats
1/2 c water
6 tbsp peanut or almond butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 c ground flaxseeds
2 tsp sugar free vanilla torani or davinci syrup ( or vanilla extract)
4 scoops protein powder vanilla or chocolate
Mix everything together and pour into wax paper lined pan, freeze then cut into chunks... i like to drizzle them with smuckers sugar free caramel sauce once frozen!!!0 -
Inkdgirl's recipe is very similar to the one I use. I got it from someone here on MFP. They're SO yummy and easy to make.
2 cups instant whole wheat oats
1/2 cup natural PB
1 tbsp milled flaxseed
4 scoups protein powder
1/2 cup water
Mix all ingredients and press into square pyrex. Freeze for 45 minutes. Remove and cut into squares. I usually get ~12 bars out of mine at 163 cal, 13g carbs, 7g fat (good fat), 13g protein, 2g sugar (nice and low compared to packaged protein bars), 17mg sodium.0 -
This sounds really good . Do you know the carbohydrate ,fat content basically I'm looking for the nutritional value in it. Thank you for your help.
