I am on day four if my 30 DS (5 if I count Monday last week but got really really sick so restarted over the weekend)
I'm still doing level one because I find it hard while doing it BUT I'm not getting stiff like before. I am squatting as low as possible and everything but the past two days I just don't feel stiff at all! Is this normal?! Should I go up even if I level one is still hard while doing it?! I only take a few breaks (for water) and it's a few seconds a piece so I'm lost!

This is normal. Same thing happened to me, and a lot of people I know. You're stiff and sore the fiest couple days, then the stiffness goes away. So keep going, keep pushing yourself, and you will see results, even if you don't feel like you're going to die when you're done.0

I'm on Day 9 and I'm not sore any more and it is a lot easier than day 1 for sure! If you feel strong enough to go onto level 2, go for it! 30 day shred is basically 30 days of doing her video! If you were already in good shape, I'm not sure why a person couldn't have started at level 3 for 30 days! JM says..."when you're ready to move on" move!
Good luck to you!0 -
Jillian won't come out of your TV and say when you should advance to the next level, so do it when you're ready. Each level works slightly different muscle groups so when you feel the need for a change, give L2 a shot.
I did each level for a month (I was running on my non-Shred days). It's just what worked for me.0 -
You don't have to do 30 day shred for 30 days consecutively so you can count last monday too if you want. Also I'd say do the whole 10 days before moving up because most people do only ache the first couple of days but it doesn't mean you're not improving when you're not aching.0

Its building your stamina. I would go up every 10 days and do it at a level you can cope with. Then you can always go back to the beginning and do it all the hard way. I have restarted because I never finished the last level, but when I did last time I could run on a treadmill which I never managed before.0

I just did 10 days on level 1 and today started level 2. I plan on 10 days at each level. I was excited to move on to level 2 I like to change things up I was starting to get bored :-) good luck shredding its amazing!0

No biggie, your body is just adjusting to the exercises. When you hit level two, no doubt you'll have a few stiff muscles again. I'm doing 30DS, and am on day #8. I'm not sore, although felt it some the first couple days. I've decided to do 10 days on L1, 10 days L2, and 10 days level 3. I'm starting to get bored with level one, so I'm glad I'll be moving on to the next level in a few days. Should be interesting to see if I actually "shred" lol.0

I alternate days of level 1 and level 2 to keep my muscles guessing. I did level 2 Monday morning and level 1 this morning. I will either do 2 or 3 tomorrow morning. It keeps me from getting bored as well.0
