Has anyone lost weight doing this? if so how much? And how long did it take to start coming off? Any other things you would like to say about this? Feel free.

Its very popular because its broken down into sections that are achievable. The plan is simple and straightforward as well, I simplified it further by using an app on my phone. I call her Pam, she talks to me and tells me when to run and when to walk. I'm doing it again for the second time but using it this time to focus on increasing my speed.
You can lose weight by doing it because it helps you to burn energy, but how much weight and when depends on your diet and other exercise.0 -
Do couch to 10 K instead. Trust me.0

Never heard of couch to 10 k. Going look it up.
And PAM sounds nice, is it free ?0 -
I'm doing this plan instead of the couch to 5k http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=14629240

I started C25K last year and managed 2 weeks, found it strangely enjoyable despite weighing 20st (and probably shouldn't be running with my family history in knees!) but it was quite good and intend to start again tonight. I've also being using an app, I think it's called, Ease into 5k, and it tells you when to run and when to walk and you can create a running playlist too.
Good luck!0 -

Couch to 10 K is a 13 week program. I literally could not run for 5 seconds. Now I'm running for an hour to an hour and a half at a time. The reason I went with 10 K is because I knew of other people who did the 5 K and then really wanted to bump it up to 10 K, so they had to buy another app called bridge to 10 K.0
