My wife is a teacher so she gets hit up a lot. she came home last night with a box of Samoas. For those in other areas with different names, that is the one with the coconut and caramel and my absolute favorite. Right now they are in the freezer but the Dark Force is strong.

  • I'm a Girl Scout mom and have about 10 cases of cookies in my dining room that need to be passed out to friends and family so I FEEL YOUR PAIN! I found that 4 Thin Mints = 160 Calories and 2 Somoas = 140 calories.....Good luck and I hope you feel better knowing you are not alone in the battle of willpower vs. the dreaded cookie lol

My daughter is selling them right now. I ordered 12 boxes. My grandma ordered 12 boxes and that means I will be getting 10 more boxes, so 22 boxes! Um I might just walk down the block and give each house a box for free so I am not tempted.

I wanna buy girl scout cookies so bad! I was a girl scout my whole life and I wanna support them by buying a few boxes, but this year is just not good for me :-( so disappointing.

  • Tag-a-longs are my only vice. Well besides, coke, drinking, cussing and whoring.

Why in the world d othey sell these things in January- around the time people are eating healthy. I think they should sell them in the fall for halloween and thanksgiving and the holidays!

You can always donate to the cookies you buy to the troops or maybe take them to your work for your co-workers to enjoy

The boxes near me are 4 dollars and that's quite a rip off since the boxes get smaller each year.

I went to Europe from the funds of selling cookies....and fried tacos...OK mostly fried tacos. Which I might add are TERRIBLY bad for you.

I won't buy them any more. I am not really crazy about how they set up outside the Grocery stores like a border crossing. It's commerce, not charity. I would rather give the money directly to the GS than pay the exorbitant price they must charge for ABC Cookies to show a profit.

While I love the idea of everything in moderation, I am an all-or-nothing kind of person with some things. I have had 2 boxes in the house all week. Thankfully they are almost gone and I haven't had a single one (and am quite proud of that). . I am buying some for the troops but hope to not bring any more home for the kids.

If they hit me up, I may just make a $5 donation instead of buying crack...er...cookies.

I can always have a couple at work because I know there's always someone who bought a bunch and then regretted the decision and wants to pawn them off on their unsuspecting colleagues :P (I ate a Samoa yesterday at work)
