Hi everyone.
Last week, I restarted JM's 30 DS and I did that from Tues to Fri and I took the weekend off. During the weekend, I ate what I chose and I didn't log. But at the end of the weekend, I actually lost weight (approx 2 lbs = 187). I started the 30DS again this past monday and am logging stuff, and now my weight is going back up to 189.6....
Is this something my body is doing? Or am i not eating enough...or.....Im not sure :frown:

When you're exercising, your muscles store extra water. when you take days off, it balances out. I always find I weigh more on the mornings after I run at night. Just keep doing what you're doing - it will all balance out in the end.0

I measure weight daily but track weekly trends.
Chill out and just record the weight, and worry NOT!
The time to move on your concerns is if you see an upward trend over 7 days.
I was 196 Monday and Tuesday, then 198 yesterday and 195 this morning.
That's a good trend, and by Saturday, I'll start seeing the 194's....

everything from water weight (your muscles retain it as the y need it to help repair) loss of fat/ gain of muscle or you are not eating enough can all be culprits perhaps the increased calories duringyour non logging days gave your body a boost. that happens often which is why "cheat days" are encouraged. Also since everyones weight fluctuates for a number of reasons weighing daily is going to make it hard to know your true weight. Try weighing once a week to get a more accurate weight.
Good luck!0 -
Just keep it up. You KNOW you are eating at a deficit. The weight will come off. I know its hard to chill when you are working so hard. I promise you it is water and not fat! You cannot gain a pound of fat in a day unless you are eating like 5,000 calories per day.
I lost 4lbs fast then over the next week or so gained nearly all of it back. Then almost just as quickly it was gone again. I gain the most weight mid-way through my cycle around ovulation.

I would stop eating whatever you want on the weekends. You don't necessarily have to log, but pay some attention to how many calories you are taking in. I stick with my 1200 and do not exercise and have one cheat day. I consistently lose my two pounds per week.0
