Quit Smoking 1 Year Ago Today!

After 36 years of smoking I finally did it!! I quit smoking a year ago today and gaining weight was my biggest fear. My doctor advised me to start moving!! I found Zumba and fell in love. In the past year I have become smoke free, Zumba licensed , and lost 29 pounds!

    Good for you! I quit 6 years ago and never looked back. It is without a doubt the best thing I ever did for my health.

    :heart: Congratulations! You will never regret it. I quit 5 years ago this month after smoking for 37 years. I can now do anything! I did gain weight but it is off now plus more. Great job!:flowerforyou:

    It will be 2 years quit this August. I feel terrific. Now I can smell smoke a mile away. My mom got my daughters some clothes one time and I had to tossed them straight into the washer, the smoke burned my nose.. LOL I still get a craving on rare occasions, but I try to just shift my attention to something else or I grab a straw to chew. :) U should be proud of yourself. How hard is it to become zumba certified?

    It took me 2 weeks of cleaning to get the smell out of my house!

    To get Zumba license.. you go to their website and see where they are offering classes. I drove 5 hours to my training, it was 10 hours. It cost me 320.00 I walked away with Zumba and Zumba Gold license. Hope that helps

    AWESOME !!! It has been 16 years for me !!! I feel so much better !!! No more hacking and coughing in the mornings !!! Again...CONGRATS and so AWESOME you are a Zumba instructer...i haven't quite mastered Zumba !!! LOL :flowerforyou:
