04/27/09: 186 bad bad week, felt so run down that working out did not happen as much as wanted. Pizza Friday night out for anniversary last night ( of course my husband picked an Italian place for dinner)

05/25/09: 180 Went to graduation 1000 miles away. Lots of sitting in the car and wrong kinds of food.
Back to phase 1 South Beach Total lost 6 pounds.
06/01/09:180 good week working -out bad week of eating. Hopefully next week is better! Total lost 6
06/08/09:180 Week 3 at this weight....it seems stuck for several weeks everytime I lose about 5 lbs.

:explode: I can't believe that it's going on more then 2 months and I can't seem to keep myself from getting out of the 180's.... My weekend's are hurting me because I tend to eat things I shouldn't, then it leads to the whole weekend!! :devil: I have to try another strategy for my weekends... I have however been losing inching in my waist so that's a postive. I need to refocus my mind again...:grumble:

Hang in there. My weekends have been hurting me also. I dropped to 177 and now am back to 181ish. I have worked hard and tried to watch my food but have been hanging in the 180's since Memorial Day. I even added the 30 day shred...but the last 3 days of had yucky weather so walking has been cut way down. Keep working....keep working....the scale will start moving again soon!0

Thanks ladies, I need to be reminded that I will get there! My sister-in-law is purchasing me a food scale today, she said if I start using it along with a meal plan she is going to put together for me I will be on my way to losing again (she's a nutrionist). I need structure again like I had on WW. I can't wait for my new kitchen gadget...:bigsmile:

I am back from my trip and I decided to weigh myself this morning. I was so terrified thinking I had gained it all back but guess what I am at 169lbs....HORRAY! I didnt work out at all last week but I did walk alot. The challenge will be this week as I have to travel again. The problem is unlike last week I wont be walking at all. I hope I make sure to keep the calories low.
I need some motivation as I am finally out of the 180's, 170's and I am now in the 160's HORRAY :blushing:

I had the help of my sister-in-law who is a nutriionist assist me with a more structured plan and it's working. We have 3 weeks left to this challenge and it seems harder then I thought it would be.

Hello all! Honestly, I did very little 'dieting' this week... it was my dad's birthday and it felt like one thing after another. However, I am working more, which means I'm on my feet more often (and not snacking!) as well as swimming now that the weather is warm enough... I guess that's where the pounds went!

Since I lost track the last 2 weeks I decided to recommit this weekend and start all over again. I feel motivated and reenergized to stick to it!:happy: I am going to try something different this time....I am going to try and eat more protein and cut my carbs. I had a protein shake this morning, brought plenty of fruit to keep me going throughout the day...sandwich for lunch.. and protein shake for dinner. I am right around the 1200 calorie intake for the day. I will also do 2 miles of running and 30 minutes on the eliptical. I will be camping this 4th of July weekend with friends and family so I want to be able and loose as many pounds as possible.
Everyone..please share what you are doing I would like to know what everyone is doing. Thanks :bigsmile:

Here are menu samples that my sister-in-law has set for me this week.
Monday:
B: 1/2 cup oatmeal with 1 cup berries
S: 4 oz of lowfat cottage cheese and 4 oz of non fat yogurt
L: 3 slices of roast beef, 1 slice of lowfat cheese, 1 tbsp of light mayo on 2 slice of light bread
S: 1 bar (Kashi or Luna) with 1 fruit
6 ounces grilled chicken with brocolli tbsp oil and 1/2 cup whole wheat pasta (cooked)
S: 1 bar (kashi or Luna) or 100 calorie snack.
**Sugar free ice pops - 2 a day free food**
I had to invest in a food scale to accurately weight my portions that consists of ounces and boy what a difference then I assumed. You also have to remember that my menu is based upon me wanting to lose 45-50lbs and I workout 5-6 times a week hard. If you have any other questions just let me know.0 -

Been having foot pain have continued walking but not nearly as much as I had been. I got the bike back on the trainer so now I can get a workout without impact on my sore foot..hope this works. Not going to loose the 30 pounds on 90 days but it has been fun. Maybe by next week I can get back to the 177. I will check in late on that one because we will be on vacation. Well leaving town, and my computer to log everything, was hard... When in chicago I didn't feel like i was that bad and i was walking all over creation...but when i first got back last wed, the scale said i had gained 3... but today i lost all that again plus an extra 1/2 lb.
and i went for a wedding dress fitting this weekend and they had to take it in about an inch on each side...not where i want to be yet, but definately moving in the right direction.
congrats to everyone who's still at it...and thanks for keeping me motivated and accountable as i try to "not look fat" in my wedding pictures.
