I am testing this page - hoping it works.
The first pic was taken Jan 1, 2011
The last 2 pics were taken Jan 24, 2012.
Still have 49 lbs to go.
I was borderline diabetic. My doctor gave me 6 wks to better myself. I had gone back to see the doc after 6 wks, and my health improved. No diabetic medication is going to take over me; not that I can help it. :noway:

At first it seem, "It's taken FOREVER!!" The hardest part is starting to take control and "override the brain". Once you find a pattern and lost a couple of pounds..you say, "Well, that ain't too bad." Before you know it....you've lost 50 lbs. My #1 goal (that I did not list in my profile) was to place my pics on the "Success Stories." :drinker: "DON'T GIVE UP!!"

I have to give a standing ovation and give thanks to all my MFP family for helping, and giving compliments to me and each other. It means such a great deal! :flowerforyou:

It took me 7 months. There were days that I took a break, due to family visits during the holidays and just wasn't motivated. But, I made myself get back into it...and here I am. :-)0
