Moving Beyond a Weight Loss Plateau

I have lost 67 pounds and now the scale won't move. I really have to make myself eat because I don't have an appetite. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. As soon as I weighed at the doctors today I went and made a appointment with my dietician for tomorrow, but would like anyone on here to help me. Thank you all so much!

Try changing your excerise. Work out harder and longer. Adding just 10 minutes should get you started back to weight loss0

Others will say this as well, you need to eat more. I don't know what your weight loss goal is set at, but it should not be higher that 1 pound per week, and eat your exercise calories. If you find you have trouble eating more, eat more calorie dense foods like nuts and the like.0

I am having the same problem. I'm just trying to change things up a bit to see what works - raising and lowering calories, changing up work-outs, put the scale away for awhile, started measuring (foods and myself) - switching things everywhere. I don't know which combination is going to be the right one. We'll see, and I can let you know!0

Thanks! I appreciate all your input. I am joining the gym on the first when my college discount is available. My friend said to try eating dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. I will try everything you have all said. It makes me so happy that you all help so quickly. This is a wonderful site!!0

The other thing a need to add is count calories carefully. A kitchen scale is a great investment along with measuring cups and spoons.0
