Anyone else with around a 10 pound weight loss goal?

I don't have a great deal to loose, but on my small body (5'2ish) it's hard to lose weight! I would like to feel comfortable in my own skin again. I could use some friends that are in the same position with similar goals.

Me TOO ! I am 5' and want to lose 10 pounds. I am a new mom- lost weight without doing anything and eating all the time for the first few weeks post delivery but then have been trying to lose the last 10 - 15. I am taking it slowly though and just starting to see some results.
I started walking daily for 45 minutes while carrying my 16lb infant and I think that is working for me
And this is my first post here !! am new !0 -
I am in the same boat, I am only 5'2 and will like to lose about 12 pounds. I find it very difficult. I do the lansone samson dvds and have cut sodas from my diet. Helpful so far.0

I just started on this site today.
Can anyone tell me about the "Check-In" tab?
Whe you type in your measurements does it tally up how much you lose for you?
And do they only show the last entry for your measurements or do all entries save so you can look back on the last few months progress?
THANKS0 -

HI there. I'm from New Zealand and I have about 12-15 pounds to lose. 5ft 2in too! I've been following MFP calorie plan for about 10 days. I'm exercising my *kitten* off gym 5 x week and 2 hill walks and 2 30 minute runs and so far I've lost..... 900g. So pissed off! Lol!:brokenheart:0

YES. I have those last 10 "vanity" pounds to lose, as Jillian would say. I've been on a plateau for a month, and this week I finally mixed up my workouts and increased my calories. I was doing step aerobics 5 days a week, 1200 calorie plan. Now I'm doing various cardio (boxing, step aerobics, and running) 3x a week, on a 1320 calorie plan. We'll see what the next weigh-in holds.0

It doesn't tally it up for you. In fact, the only place the measurements show up is on the Reports tab. You can see your measurement progress there. I guess you could say you can look back on those older measurements that way.0 -

Hey...I am right there with you. I am 47 years old, 5'2" and have about 10 lbs that I want to loose. I just started this site yesterday but have been counting my points on my own with weight watchers for the past two weeks. I have only lost maybe 2 lbs. I have been walking a couple times a week on a treadmill. After entering my foods from yesterday I didn't use up all my caleries and it said I was putting my body into starvation mode. Maybe I need more education on what type of foods I should eat???0

Hi I have just joined this site too. I'm 5ft 5 and have 2 year old twins. I really need to lose 10pounds and to tone up from having the girls. Because it's not a great deal of weight to lose i can't get motivated. Is anyone else finding this? Also I'm not sure if I selected the right box when asked about how often you move about job etc, as they have given me 1200 calories a day for a full time mum on the go. Does this sound right?0

Those 10 lbs are really difficult to lose I fight them constantly0
