I have lost 33lbs and need to lose about 30 more to be at my goal. I have been as high as 250lbs and now weigh 186. I am having a problem with toning my arms. I do some weight training at the gym but I feel my arms keep getting more flabby. what do you suggest?

You can't tone muscles
Must lose the fat first to be able to see the muscle definition. Keep on strength training though so you don't lose any of the lean muscle that you already have!0 -

pretty much this
you say you do some strength training, best thing to do is up that....the muscles will get stronger and then as you continue to lose weight they wont look as flabby0 -

I weigh the same as you and I'm just starting to see the definition in my arms. However, i find that you get a really nice look if you have good delt development so do weight exercises for your front, rear and side delts as well as your biceps and triceps. Use enough weight to challenge you, the 3 and 5 lb dumbbells do nothing. Train them every other day and on the same day do pushups. I do as many pushups as I can from my toes and then I rest a minute and do as many pushups as I can from my knees.0

Good advice, however don't worry too much about isolating various parts of the deltoids. Overhead pressing is best. Do that first and then anything else you want to throw in for shoulders is a bonus.0
