Newbie looking for motivation

Hey everyone. I am new to the site and I am looking for new riends to help keep me motivated. I have a long way to go to my goal weight and I have a Caribbean cruise booked in December to look forward to and I also want to start a family and have been told I need to lose weight to do this. I am focused for a few weeks and then always seem to lose the motivation to continue. Does anybody have any good tips?

Surround yourself with things that constantly remind you of your goal. Put a picture of a cruise-ship on the underside of the sun-visor in your car, start reading health/fitness magazines, and watch cooking shows every now and then. Being made aware of your goal by so many things in your day keeps you on track. Also, don't try to bite off more than you can chew, start small.
