Can anyone offer me some advice?

So my issue is that whenever I lose weight, the minute someone tells me I look good or they can tell I am losing weight...it all goes out the window & I quit trying. I am sure it is some deep seated psychological thing regarding hiding behind my fat, but short of some intense therapy, I am not sure how to get past it. I want to lose this weight AND keep it off this time. Any ideas to keep on track despite compliments? I didn't say it was rational...

I don't have any advice, but if it helps any, don't feel too bad because I am just like you.
I guess we just have to take it as a motivation and keep going.0 -
I don't know if it helps, but I have to have a bigger goal that I want to reach. For me, this time, I want to run a half marathon and I want to buy a dress that I've had my eye on for almost a year. I also think that you have to look at the compliments as motivation to keep going and that the sacrifice is paying off.0
