Me. A long journey behind and ahead.

Hey all,
A little more about me- I am a 23 year old female. I have been active my entire life. I am a former amateur boxer.
I began Georgia Tech in 2006. Man, the stress, lack of sleep, and bad food took a MAJOR toll on body and I suffered phyiscally and emotionally. At one point at the peak of my weight, a frat boy nicknamed me "Donkey Kong" and shared it with his entire "brotherhood". I will ALWAYS let that remark fuel me.
This was me:
I had a choice to make. Continue on in my self destructive ways or GET A GRIP. I hired a trainer and decided to focus on my nutrition and calorie intake. It wasn't easy but well worth it. This journey allowed me to become a trainer myself after I graduated, and how allowed me to support myself up until recently when I landed my dream career. Such a blessing all around. Here I am now:
And for good measure.. A couple of boxing pictures so that all the nay sayers can see that I am an actual athlete with an actual athletic background..
(the one standing up!)
I am so excited to continue to learn about fitness/nutrition and continue to improve my body! I am the FIRST to admit, I have a lot more to learn and a lot more to achieve. I am just SO thankful for where I am now. It has been a long journey that I wouldnt trade for anything.
Heres to myfitnesspal and heres to EVERYONE reaching their goals in 2012! Good luck!

OMG, you have no idea how much I wish I could. This kid probably was 5'2" and a complete smart *kitten*. I have never had someone cut me from the core so badly. I would do anything to get in the ring with that twerp.(Does anyone still use the word , twerp- everything else I wanted to use wouldn't have been appropiate )0 -
