I heard about that on the radio today, couldn't believe any parent would allow it, surprised she went that long without more health problems.

The sad thing is that up until this girl was 16, she had no mode of transportation. This means her parents had been poisoning her for 14 years... how did they not see a problem?

That's just bizarre - sounds like some serious issues both for the girl and the parents - pity they didn't seek help years ago.

    This.

That's absurd. I hope she can overcome this issue and get the heck away from those toxic enabling parents.

Ugh, I could barely read this article without feeling gross!

The saddest part is where it lists her favourite hobby as "sharing a 20 pack of nuggets and fries with her boyfriend"

Thats awful! My kids would live off chicken nuggets too. They get them once a month instead.

Stacey’s mother, Evonne, is exasperated by her daughter’s refusal to eat a healthy and varied diet and wants her to see a specialist.
‘She’s been told in no uncertain terms that she will die if she carries on like this,’ the 39-year-old explained.
‘But Stacey says she can’t eat anything else. It breaks my heart to see her eating those damned nuggets.
‘I am at my wit’s end. I’m praying she can be helped before it’s too late.’
The beauty therapist – who says her two other children Leo, five, and Ava, three, both eat healthily – has even tried depriving Stacey of food in a bid to get her to eat something other than nuggets.

  • Oh my goodness! I hope this poor girl gets mental health help as soon as her physical health stabilizes. If she is refusing to eat anything else, this has to be more of a mental health issue then a parenting issue.

Personally, I LOVE food and I can't imagine a life when you are missing out in such wonderful things. What about watermelon in the summer? Or a delicious comfort Sandwich? Or the best salad you ever had..
