If I am having a protein shake/supplement should I have it before I exercise or after?

Too add to the analogy, you could wear loafers and not tie your shoes at all.
(ie if protein intake is sufficient throughout the day, you don't need to supplement it with shakes).0 -

Usually take one like an hour before with some oats.... then take one right after I work out.0
