It's an Upward Trend!!!

I keep gaining, and gaining, and gaining, at an unimaginable rate and its REALLY annoying. I don't know what it is that I'm doing wrong, but I've gained 10 lbs in the past month and a half :explode: I am super super super precise with my logging, I measure everything and always wear a HRM for exercise, but I look like I'm 5 months pregnant! Whadda fuuuuuudge?!?!? It's stupid, really. I'm heavier than I've EVER been before. I don't think the gain is fat though, because that's like impossible and it doesn't feel squishy. It's all in my belly. I recently tried going gluten free (its been about a week) and, nothing. as someone who battled an eating disorder in the past, this is really really hard and I want so badly to go back to starving because I at least know it'd guarantee weight loss, but I know how terrible it is. Before trying gluten frre, I'd eat a ton of fiber and the problem was still there and I drink TONS of water everyday. What do i do????

Take a pregnancy test!
Yeah I'm going to echo that. If you're putting on 10lbs and your weight is all in your belly and it's squishy, pregenancy is an option.
I would rule that out before anything else.0 -
I'm definitely NOT pregnant. I've taken 4 at home tests that all came back negative and went to my gynecologist. no baby in me!0

LOOOOOOL.
You do seem to be going under every couple of days but that shouldn't affect you that much. What is your weight and height if that's OK?0 -

i"m 5'5" and now 132 lbs. It'd be a fine weight if it wasn't ALL in my stomach, making me look pregnant! When I went home for winter break my mom actually asked me if I was! At first I thought it was all the holiday food, but now I weigh even more than I did then!
I would go to the doctor and get checked out. Once you've got the all clear I would look at lifting heavy weights.0 -
Well, I work at a gluten-free bakery, and have learned a lot about those with gluten intolerances or just preferences towards that. I've been told that it can take 2 months before gluten fully leaves the body if you're reacting badly to it. I'd say to stick with it if possible, and maybe it will clear up going forward? Good luck!!0
