What would your generic forum post be?

If there was an app on MFP to do a "quick answer" to forum threads, what would yours be?

Mine would be along the lines of:
"Eat all the calories MFP tells you to lose 1lb a week, in real food, eat most of your exercise calories, only run if you like it but if you do, do it at your own pace."

Don't eat below 1200 calories a day and then not eat your exercise calories. That's just silly.

Besides what Berry said, mine would be an answer to all the "I live in Australia/NZ/other country where we use grams, I can't convert all the time." I really want to say "this site is based in the US and it's free. Deal with it, or find a local site in your preferred currency!"

    Instead I would say:

"Yes, you can change to metric. Except the badge on the front page, that stays in pounds.
I know you don't use cups in the UK, but other people do and for us it makes sense.
Look in the database for items without an *. These have serving sizes of cups, oz AND grams.
    And 1 cup is 250ml or 8 oz or 230 ml. "

This is not a race, so stop trying to lose the weight as quickly as possible.

    How about:

    "No.
MFP doesn't need a like button".

The best exercise? That would be the one you do and like enough to want to do again.

As Einstein said, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
