Gambling on weight loss...

Hey peeps,
I want to bet my friend $1000 that I can lose more weight then her in a given period of time..
The problem is that I weigh around 175 and she weighs about 250...
So theoretically, she can lose the weight easier and faster, right?
I want to go from 175 to 160 for an ideal body fat percentage of around 12%...
But she can probably go from 250 to 225 or something in that time period and lose more weight then me, since she has more fat to lose and a lot of water weight probably...
How can I adjust this bet to make it an even and fair race?
Thanks..

Base the weight loss on percentage of body weight lost. If you lose five pounds, it's 3 percent of your body weight. For her, it's 2.0

start saving your money or sabotage her efforts0

I would bet on fat % instead of pounds. That would even be better than inches.0
-
bet on percentages like they do on the biggest loser, or you could just make the bet for less money like $100 or so....it would diffinately motivate you. Good luck whatever you decide0
-
Even on percentage I still think you're setting yourself up to lose, since it gets harder to lose the smaller you go. And the last 10 lbs are the hardest. She's got a larger % to lose too.0

Why are the last 10 lbs the hardest, is there a scientific reason for that?0
-
use body fat percentage0
