Me vs Jumping Jacks

I started 30 DS this evening and I had to laugh at myself, I couldn't do more then 4 jumping jacks at a time LOL

It's been 16 months since I shattered my right leg. I was so used to saying "I will never be able to jump, run, run up and down stairs etc..." that I was making myself depressed. Just because I have a range of motion disability doesn't mean I can't find a way around it.

So Day 1 - Level 1 kicked my *kitten*. I can't do all the jumping jacks yet, can't do one butt kick and the jump rope about did me in. I was never in pain, just discomfort that went away immediately.

I see this as a challenge to improve my leg as much as it is for fitness. I took before pictures and measurements. I think just accomplishing the workouts will be reward enough this time around!
