So how many pounds have you lost in your lifetime???

I am certain that most of us have had those up and down points in our lives. Take me for a big example...
In high school I fluctuated between 128 and 145. I got my first serious boyfriend and by the end of that fiasco I was 198. Got rid of the baggage and lost weight bringing me down to 165. Then came my current husband. By my first pregnancy I got up to 220. I miscarried and kept all the weight on. Got pregnant again and got up to 262. Lost down to 237 and started college. Then came more. When I got pregnant with my twins I weighed 297. I only gained 17 with them (I was already so large!) putting me up to 314. I gave birth to almost 16 pounds of baby. One month after I had them and got rid of excess fluid, I weighed 257 (40 lbs less than the beginning of the pregnancy). It would have been great to have kept that off, but I WAS a stress eater who let everything get to me. Needless to say, I put it all back on and then some.
Today...
My twins will be two in March. It was terrifying for me to see the scale hit 303 lbs. I am now back on a weightloss journey for the last and final time. I started regular logging on December 6, 2011. I have lost 21.5 lbs. I know this time is different. I know I will keep it off. How do I know this? Instead of depriving, starving, restricting, I am simply modifying the way I eat and how much. If I want something, I eat it, just less of it. Yes I go over somedays, but the next day I am right back on track. School, work, and children do restrict my workout time, but I try to squeeze in some type of workout.
The Point...
If you look at all my ups and downs I have lost a total of about 135 lbs in my lifetime, and that is not even counting little ups and downs. I am done losing just to put it right back on! This time will be my fight to the finish and then I will only have maintenance.
Anyone else want to share their journey and what brought them here?

I've been chubby all my life and I steadily gained weight. There was one time when I was about 12 my mom got a second hand treadmill and I lost 7 pounds in a week. I gave up after that first week for some reason. By the time I got pregnant with my daughter I was about 230 pounds. During the pregnancy I lost 30 pounds and after I delivered I lost another 20. 180 was the smallest I've ever been in my adult life. The weight came back on quickly. When I got pregnant with my son I was about 240 pounds. I lost about 20 pounds during that pregnancy. The year after I had my son I got married and made a big move from AZ to CO. I guess all the stress made me gain everything back plus more. I started in April 2011 on MFP at 250 pounds, and I'm not going to ever gain this weight back again! So not including my time with MFP I've lost 70 pounds in my lifetime. MFP has given me the tools and support I needed to get the weight off and keep it off!0

More like, how many pounds have I gained in my lifetime? About 20lbs over where I would have liked to be. But I'm changing that.0

You will be there before you know it!
I hope so, it's simply a matter of discipline, and I seem to be doing okay so far. You on the other hand, have done amazing!0 -

I couldn't even begin to count how many I've lost. I've been dieting my entire adult life, and some before I was an adult. I think I started watching my weight in Jr. High. I'd gain 5, lose 5. As I got older, I'd gain 10 and lose 10, then it became I'd gain 20 and lose 10, then gain 10 and lose 16, etc, As I've aged the lower number has gotten higher and the methods for losing have gotten healthier, but I'm sure I've lost hundreds of lbs in my lifetime.0

How much weight lost ? OMG, that's a number I don't want to think about . . . probably about 100 pounds. I never had a problem until I hit about age 40 and then, that was it. The battle of the bulge. Now, it's a constant battle. The older I get, the difficult it is. It doesn't help that I have so many feet problems and now, knee problems that it makes it difficult to walk a lot. That's a real problem.
Here I go again. Got to get myself down at least 40 pounds . . . . again. . ..0 -
I'm up about 165 lbs from my birth weight. Not sure if I'll ever be able to get back there again. ;p0

Yes, this seems to happen to all of us. Just imagine if we had lost our total number all at once and kept it off! We would not be struggling now. The important thing is that we learn from past mistakes and push through now. We will get there, just takes determination and MFP as an awesome support system!0
