Scientific Research of Juicing Benefits?

Hi Everyone!

I recently did a 3 day BluePrint Cleanse. It was not as hard as I thought it would be! I lost 4 lbs in 3 days and they've stayed off so far. My boyfriend is concerned that juicing is not actually THAT (if at all) healthy for you. He is concerned with the 180 grams of sugar the beginner BPC cleanse has per day and the very small amount of protein. I can see why he is worried. He reasons that it would likely be more healthy to stick to a "normal" diet than ingesting so little protein and so much sugar. I've tried researching it but all I seem to get are websites promoting the juicing fad.

I would like to participate in the intermediate level of the BPC cleanse (which will have less sugar) but I want to make sure that this is a good idea.

So.. does any have any resounding evidence of the benefits or problems with juicing? Is he right? Does juicing really help your body detox?

THANKS EVERYONE!

xx Raquel
