Quick question about heart rate monitor

I just bought a heart rate monitor today and the spot for calorie consumption(i guess calories i burn?) it has a number and then what looks like 125kC does that mean 125 calories or like 125kilocalories???? the "k" looks so funny on a watch but im assuming its a k?

I think you are asking is a calorie the same as a kilocalorie? If so, yes. That will be the total number of calories burned.0
