Oh my gosh guys, I'm so sorry. I completely spaced out the fact that today was Tuesday!!!!!:blushing:
So sorry........:flowerforyou:

So here's my weigh-in......gained. Back to 178. What the hell man? If anything I ate so much better this week, not to mention the extra challenges I did. :explode: What gives? Am I bound to this 175-178 yo-yo? It's been how many weeks now? 4? I lost count after 3.

Hope everyone else has a better week than me, or else that would be horrible!

Keep it up...don't get discouraged.... Steady plodding!!!

Hey thanks kandyjo, it's just annoying when you try so hard, ya know? It's been over 21 weeks since I started and I've plateaued before, this one is just ridiculous I think.:indifferent:

suz im gonna try but i still cant even eat all my regular calories (see my last post) then how can i eat the exercise ones?
Ari- I love the new hair! PS- dont listen to your sister, it will just feel so much better when you reached ur goal knowing that u worked ur butt off for it and it didnt come "naturally"

I weighed myself today stupidly and of course I am at the same. So much sodium this wkend along with af is really making me retain a ton of water dang it :grumble: I will keep on chugging on though :drinker:

yeah hate to say this cause shes very pretty but i am pretty ur then her although i dont feel it so i take that with me cause my mother says just remember she may need to watch it when shes older and thats gonna be a lot harder.

thanks about the haircut its shorter then i wanted but i luv the bangs and cut so much appreciated.

got the p90x yoga part gonna try it today - may want 2 get it but still unsure but i have the yoga so it can b bonus

OK I am here. I am up one pound. I am blaming AF but most likely had to do with my LO's birthday bash and eating horrible all weekend cause I am craving something and can't figure out what. Kacee I am right there with you. I have been yo yoing for 6 weeks now. I have been going between 183 and 179. I get so frustrated. I was really hoping to be at 175 next week when we leave. That is not happening. I am happy with where I am. I am 45 lbs lighter than when anyone saw me last. I just am going to try and be carefull what I eat and try and workout ever day even if it is only a 30 min power walk.

hey guys im down a half pound (if you can even call that down and not maintaining...), which is frustrating but ill take it since my first week home has been very difficult (my parents love to eat out), but i am proud that i have made good decisions and have been exercising like a maniac! still hoping to be down a couple more pounds in 10 days when we leave for the beach - we shall see how that goes :/ however, i already do FEEL better so i know i will feel a little better in a bathing suit than i did last summer..

suz im gonna try but i still cant even eat all my regular calories (see my last post) then how can i eat the exercise ones?

Ari - sorry this is a bit of a foreign concept to me (i love food, and struggle to stay under a lot, especially if restaurants are involved)... but i would say just add more snacks... keep your body's metabolism moving throughout the day! you love smoothies and fruits and veggies, but they are relatively low-cal. maybe some veggie omelettes for protein and few more cals? or trying having grilled chicken and veggies for dinner. also pizzas on low-cal tortillas are really delish and you can load em up with veggies! i have read a lot of people on here have done something similar (been under a lot) and have plateaued, and once they start eating more they start losing again. i know its counter intuitive, but give it a shot! hope this helps... let me know if you need more ideas to eat... i love food :)
  • Hello Sisters,
DD and I went to the gym yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised to see the scale down another 4 pounds. Wow what a difference pushing a lawnmower around for 2 days, vacuuming and staemcleaning, sweeping and mopping and general picking up the house can do.Maybe I shoud do the stuff more often?:blushing:
Also my hubby got back from his trip and made me OH SO HAPPY. I hate when he is gone. I just had to show him my progress. I pulled out a pair of jeans I had tried on in front of him 2 months ago and couldn't get them over my hips, let alone buttoned. I get them bottoned and zipped. I still cannot breath well and sitting down is a bit nope. But I get them on and can walk in them. He said he could really see the diffrence even without that. The couple he went with came over today and the older lady was saying" wow you have really lost weight." So I proudly smiled and said "21pounds since May 9th." So that is a month I guess. I reckon that isn't too bad. As much as I want the weith off I am happier that I can do so much more on my exercising than I have ever done, even in schools PE classes. And I was much younger and skinnier then. I was still fat, just not as bad as now.
Hubby even broached the surgery question in a way he never did before. He actually said if I couldn't do this and needed the operation. I cut him off because I would rather do this myself if I can. But it surprised me because he has always been so against it when we would see a tv program about it. We almost lost 2 friends with that type of surgery. But he said since I am working so very hard on this that if I couldn't do it he is open to that. WHOA. I told him if I had a surgery it would put me backwards on what I had accoplished with the exercise and TKD I wouldn't be able to do any of that for so long. I would really HATE to stop my classes because I love them so much. And they have helped my not only to get moving but to improve my balance that was shot becasue I have bad ears.

WOW!! You are amazing!!! I am always so inspired by people who see the long journey ahead of them but are strong enough to just focus on today's steps... I get discouraged and I only have a little way to go - but think of how much greater your accomplishment will be!! :drinker: You rock!!!!!!!!

Hey sisters, I'm about the same as last week, I need to get out there and do a little more weights...

typical day for me eating wise would be bowl of banana nut cheerios or nothing i know its terrible but summer mode im skipping breakfast but having a big brunch

lunch - salad with cheese and sunflower seeds or 2 low carb tortillas sauce and cheese - its like 300 calories about maybe a little over

dinner grilled chicken with brown rice roast chicken with brown rice veggies

yeah im thinking during summer its worse cause with heat i dont eat (ha that rhyned) seriously though when i do eat im right under or only have had 600- 800 calories and thats cause the veggies in the salad arent that many and ive cut out smoothies they were way 2 fattening maybe a once and a while treat

speaking of treats any one try the skinny cow ice creams (100 calories) and kloindike bars they are really good,.

also i did P90X yoga yesterday where do i find that in exercise thanks

pm - im trying im trying guys

o sqaut tip mom told me and works amazing = pretend ur about to sit in a chair or the toilet then get up again its a proper squat and u really feel it. helped me a lot

cingrats on 4 pound loss - :drinker: :drinker: jealous howd u really do it lol and congrats on thejeans wat a great feeling

slow and steady wins the race

  • Well, here we are in another week. I woke up yesterday with a pulled muscle or something in my neck/shoulders/back area. So there wasn't much movement from me yesterday. However the hubby did come through and started tilling garden, so as soon as it stops I'll be out there workin my butt off. I'll wait for him to get home till I go for a jog, but I think I'll get in some sort of strength in the mean time.
Basically, now I'm pissed at this plateau and this MEANS WAR!!!! I don't know about any of you, but anger is a very good motivational tool for me. I'm mad that I'm not where I wanted to be by now, I'm mad that I got lazy, I'm mad that something I should be able to control (my own body) isn't working with me. So I'm going to beat myself into submission. (not as literal as that sounds:laugh: ) Let's admit it, I LOVE being lazy, but I HATE not looking good in cute clothes, or having a bad self-image. So what do I do to remedy this? Get off my fat *kitten* and exercise and not just skim by with 30 minutes. Because obviously that's NOT working for me.
So I'm declaring WAR on my fat *kitten*.:laugh:

  • Rosabella you will do it. I have heard those last 10 or 15 pounds really like to drive a person nuts. But you can do it.

PumpkinheadsMOMMA, HAHAHAHA I had to laugh at that declaring war remark. I agree it is like a war to get those pounds to move from their terriory. You keep up the work and all of a sudden your body will say "alright pounds, MOVE OUT!"
  • You know last night I layed in bed, trying to sleep, and I thought "maybe that post was a little harsh". Well I'm glad everyone took it how it was meant. I was worried someone might think I had a warped sense of self and needed some freakin chocolate or carbs cuz I was getting a little looney on ya.  Well anway I'm glad it was taken the way it was meant. So I guess tonight I can think about something else on my way to sleep.

We have discussed this so many time over the last several months. You really need to eat your calories. I saw in one of your other post's that you wanted some pizza. Well eat the pizza it is not going to kill you unless you eat the whole thing. I am sure it is hard. For me it is hard to stay under my calories. Also I saw you cut out the smoothy's. If that is the only way you are going to eat all your calories then have a smoothy. Or maybe make them half the size of something.

of course! is it that you arent hungry or that you feel guilty eating more? i know in the summer heat its harder to eat a lot, but smoothies are then a good alternative, and i know you love them! just think of it as getting in your fruits/veggies for the day, and know that the calories are good ones and not from junk food. also, i agree, have the pizza! if you need some more calories and are craving it, go for it sister! just be careful with portions :)
  • Just to let you guys know, I haven't dropped off the face of the planet. I am however in North Dakota caring for my Grandmother - and believe me, it is extreemly hard work (my legs, stomach, and arms are all sore and I haven't had a chance to workout in two weeks). I won't be around much, if at all, for the next three weeks or so.

I hope everyone is well! :flowerforyou:

Yes that is the point. I was not trying to be mean or anything. It just seems like you have been struggleing with this and there are many things that are high in calorie that you could add in to your diet to make you reach your calories. I just thought it seemed like you were wanting to eat certain foods and were not allowing your self to eat them. I do not mind at all if you continue to eat less calories. It is your body. How many calories are you eating if you don't mind me asking? I do not eat my exercise calories per doctors orders. I only eat my 1500 calories. I never don't let myself eat what I want though. If I want pizza I have pizza, I just eat less calories with the rest of my meals. If I want a smoothly or a milk shake or Mc Donalds or Burger King I eat it. By doing this I went from a size 20 in January to a size 12 in April. I also lost 40 lbs in 4 months by eating what ever I want just with in my calories.

Well I was cleaning cause I was supposed to fly home today but now I am on the verge of an emotional binge. The only thing stopping me is we threw out all our food since we will be gone over 3 weeks. I would kill for a donut or a pretzel or cookies right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
