Curious...when someone says"Don't tell anyone"

Do you still tell your spouse?

I personally do, mostly because he doesn't know anyone personally to care to tell anyone else, and I trust him not to.

What about you?

    Absolutely, if it is something share worthy. I tell my husband everything, and everyone knows this so they will tell me something, then say don't tell anyone except your husband.

    Ahaha, neither can I. So, if I must tell SOMEONE, it's Nick, 'cause I know he doesn't care/won't tell anyone.

    There are some secrets though that even I don't care enough about to tell him xD

    Well I'm sure you have a best friend, or a mom, or a cat or something. Tell it to them :D That's what I did/still do when Nick isn't home. Except replace cat with puppy. >.>

    I definitely always tell my boyfriend. He keeps his mouth shut so I don't even think about it.

    Hahaha no, I use it as an exercise in self-discipline. I'm probably the best person to tell secrets to, because I absolutely will not tell anyone...

    I always tell my husband. Been married 25 years (26 next month), and only kept 2 secrets from him. one was when I was planning a surprise anniversary trip for us. The second was when I accidentally found out my daughter was pregnant with their second child, she had a really cool way she wanted to tell people at Christmas, so I kept my mouth shut for a WHOLE MONTH, even thou it about killed me!

    I tell my twin sister, most friends who say 'don't tell anyone' usually add 'except for ruth' because they know we can't keep secrets from each other!

    If someone says "don't tell anyone" i usually end up telling my mom. it's not like they'll ever find out and I get to vent and talk it over with my mom.

    My husband and I are very open about everything with each other. He's my partner and companion for life, and I trust him to keep what I say confidetial between us just as I do for him.

    So, yes, I tell him, and it goes no further.

    What I think is funny is that when someone says, "can you keep a secret?" . . . Nobody ever says "no"!!
