This may seem very small, but I am happy! yesterday at I ate at O'Charley's. We were celebrating my son's 5th birthday. If anyone is familiar with O'Charley's, then you know those rolls are irresistable! Well I am proud to note that due to my new style of eating, for the past two weeks I've been eating protein, healthy fats and lots of vegetables and I'm getting a bulk of my calcium from unsweetened almond milk and cheese. It is not willpower that made me resist those rolls. It is my new eating plan! I did not eat the rolls, I left the croutons off my salad- both firsts for me and I've probably eaten at O'Charley's so many times since 1997! Also for my side, I had broccoli. Just to note, sometimes it is not willpower that causes us to eat healthier, it is the biochemical changes in our body, that reduce the craving for those foods. yay for me! wanted to share this!

That is so true. The same thin happened to me this week when I went to the cheese cake factory this week. Yay, for biochemical changes helping have greater will power. These biochemical changes are great motvation, because now I don't even want to go back to the way I was eating a month and a half ago.
