All soda is is chemicals and sugar or sugar substitutes. All that messes with your bodies functions.

What ever your calourie limit is for the day, you dont want to be drinking your cals. Fake sugars aren't good for you either. Any ingredient you find hard to pronounce and need a pharmacists degree to know what they actually are, is not good for your body. If you are willing to change to diet soft drink, make a bigger move to just stop. It's hard at first, like with giving up coke I had headaches for a few days (as I was trying to give up coffee too!) but now not only save money, but save on the cals for the day being used up by drinks. Your body will love you for it if you can just stick with water and tea or coffee. No fizzys! You can do it! Even juice isn't the best, gotta have fresh fruit and water as you lose all the fibe when its just juice. Save the soft drink for special occassions like parties, with alcohol on the odd occassion. Treat it as a special occassion treat. Not an every day need.

I haven't answered why it's bad. Just hoping to pass on a motivator for cutting it out all together. Really worth it. Best of luck

I never drink soft drink unless it's diet. I don't think I can give it up just yet :P Maybe in a few weeks or so..

I drink it unlimited and I consistently lose weight. It helps when I need something sweet.
