fat loss

I am planning on getting a very accurate and definative answer to my body fat percentage.
I am going to go and get the "submurtion" (spelling?) test done so I will know beyond a doubt what my percentage is.
But what i am wondering is if someone can tell me:
if i adapt my intake calories to an amount that is an amount that will maintain my weight where i think it should be or where I am told it should be % wise, also taking into account that I keep my fat intake to a proper level, if I will continue to lose body fat with my regular exercise.
I hope I have made my thoughts clear here.
If not please question will be welcomed!
As well answers and references will be welcomed as well!
