I'm getting back into early morning runs when I don't have to be at work early and don't quite like running on an empty stomach but also don't like feeling my water and food jiggle around in my stomach while I jog. Any suggestions on light snacks to eat before going out?
For example, I'm having water, a clementine, and some almonds right now before heading out. Is that even any good? I have no clue.
I do plan on coming back and eating a full breakfast after the run. I'm just looking for something light to get me through my 3-5 miles.

I eat a couple of portions of fruit or a bit of protein before I run - seems to work ok0
