Anyone find hot tub and sauna beneficial after working out? I had been told hot tub was good to soak your muscles after an intense workout and that the sauna was beneficial to help with the muscle building process (blood flow, sweat, water reduction, etc.) . A) Anyone else do this and Anyone got actual research on either of these they would like to share?
I stopped doing it because my workouts are 2 hours and at the end of the day. Adding another hour for hot tub, sauna and shower made it a long day AND it was drying out my skin pretty bad.

Search visceral flush. It not only involves soaking but a 3:1 time ratio between hot and cold water. For every 3 minutes in hot, spend 1 minute in cold. Your cells freak sending tons of blood to ur skins surface then the cold child sends it you or vital organs. It cleans your insides and blood cells. Look it up if you dont' believe me: VISCERAL FLUSH!0
