Feeling a little discouraged..

Hi...just feeling a little discouraged about losing only 1 pd a week..my goal is really to do 2..I'm not really sure why that's happening and maybe I shouldn't be so obsessed about it..but I just feel like it's going sooooo slow. :/

  • One pound is great you shouldnt feel so discouraged 1 pound is better then nothing. Gaining weight doesnt happen over night and neither does losing weight so dont beat yourself up too bad.
    Are you eating all the calories that mfp has set for you? I cant see your diary so I cant help you out awhole lot tos ee what you are or arent eating. Are you exersicing and eating those cals too?

    I feel your pain! I'm losing at a snail's pace :(
    Keep your head up. Overtime you'll get into a healthy eating and exercise groove and the pound will start shedding. Maybe try a spike in your diet? Thats what I'm going to try :)
  • Actually more often than not I eat below the calories MFP has established for me....I guess I'm trying to wrap my head around the whole eat what you burn thing...When I did South Beach I lost 40 pds in less than 4 months..it came off so fast...I was walking like 6 miles a day and stuff like that. I know I need to be more patient and celebrate the fact that I am losing..and losing the healthy way. I prob should be exercising a whole lot more!
