What is the benefit of drinking apple cider vinegar? Weight loss? Better digestion?

    Supposedly, apple cider vinegar will help control acid reflux in small doses. However, to see any sort of other benefits you need to drink unfiltered apple cider vinegar WITH MOTHER (ie: it still has the living culture in it that created the vinegar). You usually have to go to a health food store to find this. The benefits are similar to using a probiotic, so it improves digestive function.

    I use it in the morning and evening. Mix 2 tablespoons ACV and one tablespoon honey in 8 oz of water. Once you get use to the flavor you can down it easier. More water = Less taste. I can tell a difference in my energy and skin. I had a 68 yr old man that works with me tell me about it - He still climbs roofs. I tell everyone about it. Braggs is the brand you want to buy and if your local grocery store has a organic section you should be able to find it there.

    I don't know what it is suposed to do but my mom gave me some when I complained of not being able to control my eating certain times of the month. It works to suppress that "I want food but I don't need it" craving, I couldn't make it without it. It take the pill form but my Dad says liquid is better he does 2 shots a day.

    make sure you actually measure it out...i was just eying 2 tablespoons and the acid started irritating my stomach in the morning

    It's also really great to put on skin blemishes (dark spots, acne, etc.)...just put it on a cotton ball and rub it into your skin.

  • Am I the only one who could drink it by the glass?
    I put tons of it on cabbage (just slice it up and throw it in a wok for 10 minutes with a tbsp. of EVOO) little salt and pepper after with TONS of apple cider vinegar and you can have 2 cups for like 45 calories!
  • I find it great too when you have a cold, my mum and grandma have used it, it is supposed to be good for detoxing.

  • Totally DO NOT DRINK ACV mixed with just water! I have to mix it with 8 oz. of DIet V-8 splash berry blend. It hides the taste wonderfully. I like to take it in the morning before working out. It gives me a little energy boost. Lot's of health benefits. Just google it.
  • I did! Probably not enough though. I tried it again with Good Earth tea and it was actually pretty tasty!
