What the what does "Bump" mean??? LOL.

Okay, clearly I'm new. But I always read posts and people are always saying "bump". Is this some blog lingo that I'm clueless about? LOL.

    They are "bumping" the thread back to the top if other, newer threads have pushed it to the bottom or another page :)

    It just means 'bump' the post back up to the top of the recent post lists by replying to a topic. It's a way of getting people to look at the topic again if it has gone a bit quiet. Might also be used for people to keep track of it because they can see it their "My topics" list if they have responded.

    I read this somewhere: Bring Up My Post. Actually you can go to MY TOPICS at the top and find the post easier. ☺

    As a reference, think of it as an acronym for "bring up my post" ;) used to bring topics closer to the highest part of a board :)
