Okay so I recently moved to the States, and I have an addiction to chocolate. Surprisingly, none of my favorite chocolates were available here. For example, kinder bueno. Which is perhaps my most favorite chocolate wafer bar thingie in the world. So I ordered a 30 piece set on Amazon. Such a smart dieter right? Whatever, two bars are 240 calories. I'll find a way to fit it in -___-
Ever done something you knew was like self sabotage happily? :P

 have! But... there is a difference between doing something like this and eating the whole box or giving yourself the occasional treat and counting it. Depends on your plans0

No Kinder chocolate here but I have found Ritter and Milka and Lindt is everywhere. If you have a large military base nearby check out the grocery stores around there.
We lived in Germany for 1 1/2 years. I'm now a mustard snob. I also do taxes and offered 1 client who is still in Germany the option to pay me in Kuhne Senf Mittlesharf. (We have 5 bottles left so I'll be repeating my previous offer to him again.0 -
I found that I struggle to find places the stock my favourites so I often order in bulk from Amazon. So long as you don't eat the box in one go I don't see there being a problem.0

When I returned to the States, I started eating all the good foods I missed for the two years I was in Nepal: cheese, Doritos, various candies, etc. I put on about 10 lbs in the first year I was back. While it's fun to indulge (and I think we all should at times), just be careful!0

The US does not have proper Dairy Milks. Really, they're inedible (to me) when bought in the US. My stepfather is English. Whenever my mom and he go for a visit to the UK, they bring back a bunch for me. Ahh, sweet Dairy Milks.0

For me it is cheese, french cheeses to be exact. I travel 3 times a year to France and bring back an average of 25lbs of various cheeses which I freeze. Once every other week I will defrost one and try to portion it out but I have been known to eat a whole one with my homemade baguette and of course wine has to be part of the feast. One of my MFP friends said don't worry it is a good way of getting fruits and dairy, so I do not worry, lol....0

Today I had about a thousand calories left for dinner and decided to go to Dairy Queen for a burger and onion rings. I don't do it often, but today I wanted it so I had it.
And hey, I'm still within my calorie goal!0 -
Every time I go back to the UK to visit I go mad on food: Indian takeaways and chocolate mainly. Indian food is expensive here so I rarely eat it and all my favourite chocolate is so cheap in the UK. After 8 mints for £1 a box!!! I can go mad in Poundland!! Luckily I only go for 2 weeks in a year0

I so wish I could eat just one. If I eat chocolate, one is never enough. I have to "just say no"! : )0

I did the exact same thing when I moved back to the US after 3 years in Africa....I swear I gained about 20 lbs within about 6 months!0 -
I moved to the USA over a year ago and everything mainstream here tastes artificial and processed to me. The ingredients list on foods take up the whole side with names I can't even pronounce with chemicals and preservatives. The freezer isles seem to be a mile wide while the produce isles are mini and rotting Maybe it's just the area I live in, but I find I have to go to higher-end grocery stores, and have started buying lots of organics and whole, clean foods because of it! Lucky for me at these grocery stores, you can find "ethnic" isles which have foods from around the world. Kinder Bueno incluuuuuuuuuuuded! Also, actual imported dairy milks =D I don't indulge much in it but I am thankful it's there whenever I get cravings.0
