Hi there,

So for just over 6 months now I've been into my weight loss regimen and would say to good success with losing 50lbs so far, but I've got a way to go yet. During this time I have 3 things I really would of not done so well without (below) and want to know yours!

They can anything from a low calorie alternative, your favourite CD to push you through your workout or pain relief but don't include the obvious like MFP or gym equipment etc.

My top 3 essentials
1. Digital food scales
2. Chewing gum
3. Small click and lock containers (to carry fruit and snacks)

  • My 3 things:
    - Steamer bags for microwave -- great for steaming any food just perfect
    - MFP.com -- if I don't track every day then I do not lose what I need to lose
    - Salad kits - I especially like the Fresh Express and the ones made by Publix. I buy them only when they are 2 for 1.
  • 1. MFP.com
    2. My steamer pot
    3. online nutrition listing/calculators

    1. Sneakers. Without happy feet, you're screwed.

    2. Small calorie deficit. If I ate too little, I stalled and felt crappy.

    3. Camera with self-timer and a tripod. Because sometimes the scale and tape don't tell the whole store. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/LorinaLynn/view/-f-the-scale-203555

(Honorable mentions to good music and dry-weave clothing!)
