so i decided that i wanted to change my goals because i felt that i was eating too much sodium and not enough fiber, but meanwhile i changed my car protein fat ratio to 55% carb 25% protein and 20% fat. basically i would like to know if this is good for weight loss?
thanks

thats sounds pretty good but what are you going to do with the other 5% lol.

i did just read the essential fat is 15% a day which G dammit i didn;t realise here's me on 15 gramms a day.
take into account what type of carbs encompass that 55% but the ratio sounds good to me if the protien was 30% perhaps just to add the last 5% tee hee!!
NOT a doctor i know nothing but i read lots of books!!

I would add the 5% you lost to the fat. I believe the recommended ranges for weightloss are 50-55% carbs, 25-30% fat, and 20-25% protein. I have trouble eating enough carbs so my ratio is 50:30:20 Carbs:Fat:Protein.
  • there is no other 5%. its 55% carbs + 25% protein + 20% fat = 100%...
