I am getting burnt out. i have been logging food for a year now and i am getting tired of it. before i started logging my weight was stable. i never gained or lost and i was a healthy weight. i started logging because i wanted to lose about 10-15lbs that everyone else said was not needed. losing didnt really work for me so i changed by goals and started bulking (i now weigh more than when i started MFP). i think about everything i eat and i NEVER want to go out to eat like i used to because i worry i am going to go over my calories. while i am bulking right now and enjoy being able to keep track of my macros sometimes i just want to be "normal" and not have to worry about every single thing i eat.

Maybe it's time to take a break from here? If you are getting burnt out, frustration will run high, and you won't end up making any progress. You don't want to push yourself to the breaking point either. It sounds like calorie intake is really starting to run your life, and that could end up turning into something unhealthy. Take a step back, a deep breath, and give yourself some time to recoup.

People that are trying to bulk seem like they have a whole different eating and workout program. I personally don't log my food anymore, I got tired of it. I stay on here because of the forums and to support other people. I have actually lost weight now that I don't log my food! Have you changed your workouts with weightlifting or anything? Are you eating a lot of protein to repair and build muscle fibers? Don't let counting calories run your life, to me it's not realistic to track everything you eat for the rest of your life. But it's just my opinion.
