    No, you don't. When you get your invitation, you will have an option to join without.

    does anyone know if you can sign-up without using FB or Twitter? I was hoping pinterest was gonna replace/be the other sites for me:)

    Sure, you can sign up without either of the other programs, just pick a user name and password on the main site page. I signed up before they had these invite things...so I'm not sure how that works now.

    Nowhere on my invite allows me this. Are personal invites vs site invites different perhaps? Or did they change their policy?

    Hmmmm..I must have miss something. The only options I had were to log in using either my Facebook account or Twitter....
