3 weeks at less than 1,200 cal/day plus exercise-no net weig

I am new to this-I like recording what I eat, and exercise. I have really restricted carbs and calories, 1/2 the 3 weeks I have eaten less than 900 calories, and the rest no more than 1,200 cal/day. Am I doing something wrong? I am determined to stick to this!

    You're starving your body of the energy it needs to metabolise the fat. You need to up your eating.
  • Sounds like you might not be eating enough, so your metabolism is actually slowing down. Eat the recommended amount on your food goals, or at least within 100 calories of it and see what happens...

    I'm farely new to this but I think you might need to eat more. Did you log your information in here? If so how many calories did it say you should be eating daily? That should be your minimum.

    Thank you for all the replies-how encouraging! I did up my calories starting yesterday-and i feel better already! I was recommended to eat 1,400 and I was eating 1000 to 1200, sometimes as few as 800 and exercising.
