Hi everyone.. I am new to myfitness pal and I have to say that I love it!! It has been great the past two days. I love seeing everying right in front of me. I am determined to loose this fifty pounds that I need to take off. I gained weight on an anti-depressant when my Dad got sick. So, I was never over weight until then!! The food has been the worst for me. I work out like a crazy women, but cannot get the food down pat!! If anyone has any suggestions to help with the food intake.. let me know!! Good luck to all of you who are working on taking off the weight!!

Sounds like similar problems to mine.. great exercsie, controling eating... not so much. Hope we can figure it out or at least cheer each other on!0

You know what girls :happy: I was in the same boat untill last 2 months all my life but then someone made me understand the functionality of our lovely organ called STOMACH !
Its these two fundas :-
1. Stomach is like a baloon .... so it can stretch as much as we want.
2. It develops a pattern, so lets say now its used to having 4 bread slices in the
mornings - by cutting a single slice you can get it to get used to 3
3. The trick is to eat slowly - you might read something while eating or watch something,
the point is to let the signal reach the mind as soon as the stomach is full.
4. Tried and tested - after serving your meal , before starting the meal - have a tall glass of water.
This has helped me a lot ! I realized all the stuff that I was eating and thinking I would die without was just OVER EATING !!!
Eapecially when you eat something that you love like a Pizza or a chocolate bar - take your own sweet time to finish it - that way you eat restricted !!!
