Calorie Intake...Help!

So I am 19 and starting weight was 135 and I am currently weigh 129.2. My calorie intake has been 1200 each day and most days I don't even eat all of those scared that I will go over. and when I exercise I sometimes eat back my calories. now, seeing as how I've lost weight, I see its working. But lately I have been seeing most people should not go below 1200 and that you may gain weight because of it. Or plateau. even sooner. So someone tell me what I shohld do. I need some help!! What is a good calorie intake for me..and do I eat back my exercise cals. I would normally do that only if I'm hungry. I just don't want to be unhealthy or gain. Thanks!

Starting weight for me was also 135-136. 1200 calories plus all my exercise calories helped me.0

I'm lost on this topic as well and it doesn't help that I have a hard time eating even 1000 cals a day. if anyone has any tips add me pls thanks0

Honestly, at this starting point you really need to talk to a doctor instead of a, more or less, anonymous internet community. Pretty generic advice can be given to many people that have significant amounts of weight to lose, but the closer you are to a healthy weight the less effective such generic advice is. You need to be talking to someone that knows your situation, and can give you medically sound advice.
Honestly, from looking at your pictures, you seem to be in fairly good shape. You don't give your height, but aesthetically you don't look like you have any significant amount of extra fat or weight (at least as well as those pictures show, and for all I know they are out of date). Regardless, I don't think it's in your best interest to listen to what I predict is the generic and inexpert opinions that you are going to get here. MFP is good for what it is, but it tends towards knee jerk advice.0
