Try to replace the jewelry with titanium if you can and rinse it daily with H2Ocean or woundwash, if you cant get either get some sea salt and mix it with warm water and use that. Also make sure you aren't cleaning it too much and aggrivating the piercing.
  • Yeah. I got it done at a place that has half price piercings on tuesday to save money but ended up paying that 15, plus 120 for a doctors visit (didnt realiza my insurance ended 1/1) and 18 for an antibiotic. :( The infections gone but its still red.

As long as it's kept clean and it's not weeping, it's probably just healing.
Mine took a good eight weeks to be completely healed, just make sure to keep cleaning it with antiseptic :)

Mine took about six months to fully heal. That's about normal, and why I opted to get pierced in the winter so it would be better by summer.

I used a plastic disposable shot glass with sea salt water (I used H2Ocean to start, then mixed my own). I'd put it against my belly, flip the cup over, and lay down for about five minutes, two or three times a day. I never used any ointments or cleansers other than anti-bacterial soap when I showered.

If you don't have faith in the studio that did it, find a more reputable place (I cyber stalk tattoo and piercing studios on Facebook) and go in for a 2nd opinion. The place I go often posts pictures of before & afters of repair work they did from other shops.
