What have you done this week to make you SUPER MOM (or DAD)?

Mine was last night. I work an 8-5, I go pick up my daughter, then my son. Usually don't get home until right before 6. Last night I went home, started the oven for dinner, did the dishes, put a load of laundry in, made dinner and threw it in the oven, switched, folded, and put away 2 loads, fed the kids, swept the kitchen, vacuumed the floor and made dinner for my fiance and I. All in an 1.5 hours. Then, I took the dog running with me while the kids bathed (finace was home by this point).

Then this morning I woke up, made tea for my son (he's ADD), folded and switched out laundry, made coffee, breakfast for everyone and packed everyone's lunches.

SUPER MOM!!!

Ditto, I have 4 1/2 year old twins and a 3 year old, on top of taking care of them and the house, I am taking 16 credits at my community college. I have to be super mom everyday or else the house would fall apart.

Oh and I didn't kill the little monsters today, so that alone makes me super mom

I also let her take all of my red M&Ms from my fun size bag.

Of course I told her she was eating ALL of the calories.

Oh yes, super mom here! Yesterday I worked 9-5 then picked up my 7 year old, then went to pick up the 5 year old. Walked through the door and upstairs for a bath. Then downstairs to have dinner. Back upstairs to do homework with 7 year old, then homework with 5 year old (everything with him takes a long time, he is autistic). Then I went back to the 7 year old to practice his reading. By this time it was 9 p.m. put them to bed. Once they were asleep went back downstairs to clean up the kitchen. Yep, I'm exhausted just writing this :)

I am a single dad, I raised my son since he was 1. I started a business, worked it full time. Took my son to school, and picked him up. Did all the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Plus took him to hockey for 12 years. I am happy to say that I have the very best son, he is in his 3rd year of college and preparing for a career. I just did what had to be done.

So proud of you for realizing that you are a super mom for doing all of those things. I think all of us sometimes get caught up in the mundane tasks of life - we do this things and accept them as our daily grind - which they are. But if you think about it, we really are the backbone of our families that keep it running. SO GOOD FOR YOU SUPER-MOM AND TO ALL THE OTHERS OUT THERE DOING THE SAME THINGS DAY AFTER DAY AND FEELING SOMETIMES UNAPPRECIATED! Our kids, husbands/wives, families are really thankful even though they forget to say it sometimes :)

My SUPER MOM day was last Friday... Got the kids to school a half-hour early so I could do a PT conference, picked up supplies for my daughter's science project and my son's rocket club project, came home to throw dinner in the crock pot (one of those 6 hour recipes) and clean up the house for a double slumber party, back out to pick up snacks for said party (of course at a different store LOL), picked up the kids from school and ran over to a rollerskating fundraiser, then home, dinner, boys' sleepover in one bedroom and girls' in another with the hallway blocked off so they couldn't come out and watch me work out for an hour and a half while desert chilled in the freezer, then unblock the hallway and call them out for desert (keeping the peace between factions) and get them set with fresh movies, snacks and drinks before telling them I was officially off the clock for the day and behave or I'd seperate them... then I fell asleep trying to watch a movie with hubby.
