Quick! We're ordering Chinese at work today and I don't know what to order besides steamed shrimp and vegetables. I got that last time and it was decent although not as flavorful. I was wondering if there was anything else that was yummy but low cal.

My favorite Chinese restaurant will let me order a side of their spicy vegetarian brown sauce for $1. I dip the tofu or shrimp in it, so it makes things a little more interesting.

I think the steamed veggies/fish are the way to go...many of the other items in the "fast food" Chinese places are loaded with oils.

    Good luck!

Thanks! I ended up getting the Hunan shrimp with vegetables. I ate so much hot and sour soup beforehand that I wasn't even that hungry. It was only after I logged the soup that I realized how much sodium it had. Ooops.
