Can't believe I'm posting these but....
This is me in January 19th 2011 at 210lbs.
This is me in May 2011 at around 220-225lbs This is the photo that jolted me into losing weight.
This was taken on Friday, I'm now 175lbs
I really can't see a difference, I've gone down from a UK 18-20 to a UK 16, that's nothing & I feel like a failure.
Okay, had ago at resizing the pics.

Really? you cant see the difference?! You look a lot slimmer in the bottom picture, I mean it is cut off some, but your whole body seems leaner, I would not think seeing the middle pic and the bottom pic was the same person, your body def looks diff to me good job girl!0

You look amazing... Just remember we are our worst critics and even though we might not see the biggest difference. Others do..
Good joB!0 -
I really can't see a difference0

Your back fat, love handles, and what I lovingly call the *kitten* shelf, is gone. This is why measuring tapes are fantastic.0

OMG. You, my friend, need a new mirror. You look fab!
Take a minute to enjoy your success as your hard work has paid off!0 -
dont your clothes fit differently? ...
apparently we all see a difference.0 -
Wow! We have the same problem!!!! It seems to be all in one place, our stomach. Even when I lose some pounds it must go from my earlobes and toes cause that middle part looks just the same. Even your cat looks like mine. Also, I could use a weight loss friend - are you available?
Thanks,
Cathie Hanson0 -

No, my clothes fit the same0 -
Sometimes the mind needs to catch up with the body...Perhaps you don't see it because you are not at your goal yet, but there is a physical difference! You have done a fabulous job dropping 50 pounds, this is fantastic. Be kind to yourself, tell your mind to thank your body for responding to your efforts by saying good bye to 50 pounds. Don't stop what your doing, it will happen you will see the difference and I am certain you feel the difference!0

You look so much leaner and younger in the latest photos - well done!0

Yeah, my stomach never seems to shrink!
& sure I'll add you.0 -
You can definitely tell that there's a difference! Despite that your arm is against your torso in the after and your arm is extend in the before, your after arm looks much slender. Your stomach is indeed much smaller.. yes, there is definitely a difference.
Take a step back, put the pictures side by side on your screen. I think you are being too hard on yourself!0 -
You are crazy!!
You look fantastic!
The middle to the top is a great transformation! The top to the bottom you look like you've definitely become more lean. Don't be so hard on yourself because you have lost a huge chunk of weight and you should be proud of that!0 -
Yes you look slimmer. Are you tall? I am and it's hard for me to tell the difference also when I loose weight.0
-
I can see the difference, you look great. Well done 45lbs is no mean feat!
You mention your dress size hasn't changed much...for what it's worth my opinion on this is.....
We **squeeze** into the larger clothes even though we could use a larger size until we realise we need to do something about it. Then our clothes become more comfortable, then loose, then we drop a size, they're a but tight, then comfortable, then loose.....you see the pattern? 3 states to each dress size!0 -

I'm 5'7.0 -
Wow you look fantastic! I think one problem is the camera shot is too close. But I agree you have significantly lost a lot of weight. If it makes you feel any better I'm the same weight as my old supervisor and she claims she's a size 12 and I'm still at an 16/18. Everyone is different but you look a lot better now. Just keep at it and use a measuring tape. I'm going to start my Zumba dvd's. Revamp your exercising and eating. You have done amazing!!!0

It's the photos you're looking at. The 1st photo and the 3rd photo look a lot alike, but that is because of the angle and taking a self-photo. What you need to do is get a friend to take a pic of you full-on and a side shot, and try to wear something similar from one time to the next. That being said, there seems to be a drastic differance in photos #2 and #3. As far as wearing the same clothes, there are some things that I've work from the time I was 128 to 167. Those things are generally baggy on me when I'm at the low end and tight on me at the heavy end. Of course, some things I can't wear at all now.0

I have only been on this site for about 2 weeks and like you have been losing weight over the last year. I have lost 65 pounds and don't really notice it myself. One of my family members is a nurse for a dietitian and said that most people who don't lose an insane amount of weight (from say gastric bypass or surgery) or even people who do weight training can't see the difference as much. This is because we lose it at a more healthy natural rate and we get slowly used to it over that year. I think you look much more toned and defined and are doing a great job!!0
-
I never took any progress photos at first, the first one is the only suitable one I have of me at that weight & that was just a photo I took to show my friend my new top (didn't ever show it, was too embarrassed), I haven't worn that top since the second photo was taken, maybe it's time to try it on & see if it fits differently.0

Remember muscle weighs more. I can see a big difference in your picts! Your leaner:) Way to go, keep it up, tell your inner down thoughts to leave you be and remember to smile:)0

I can definitely see a difference between your 220-225 photo and your new 175 photo. But even if you've only gone down one pant size, don't feel so bad. 50 pounds lost is nothing to scoff at and you're incredibly healthier now because you've lost it. Keep up the good work and make sure to not forget your weight training so that you can get some muscle definition and help you burn even more fat.0
-
Theres a huge difference, you should be very proud of yourself....and think of the difference you make to people following your footsteps I wish I'd lost as much ....watch this space I am going to do it! Keep smiling and check out the mirror it doesnt lie.....looking great !0
-
Yes! Definately try it on. It's a cute shirt. ) BTW... I thought it looked fine to start with. I guess we are always harder on ourselves, aren't we!0

I haven't got a clue how to weight train? I don't even know what that is, I just work out when I can, which isn't very often as I'm in college full time.0 -

It was supposed to be a mini dress, hopefully it will actually look like one when I try it on! *fingers crossed*0
