I have a Polar FT4 HRM which I love and it is not that old, just purchased a few weeks ago worked well up till today.......booooo
it is not figuring my Heart Rate correctly......I was really working out the watch keeps beeping telling me I am not in range and doing jumping jacks it says it is not in range ?????
Has anyone else had any problems with there Transmitter?? I did contact Polar, but you know it takes days for them to get back to you.....I had to send e-mail because I do not have a phone number......if anyone has a phone number to call I would appreciate it.....love to have accurate counts on exercise.....

Is it registering zero? I need to put the chest strap under my bra strap ... to hold it in place. With some forms of exercise it's really easy to "lose" the signal on the monitor. I can see jumping jacks really jostling things around.0

I have a Polar FT7 and it happened to me recently too, just one day on a run. Still haven't figured out what caused it to lose the signal, but ever since I've been very careful to wet the contact area of the strap thoroughly before putting it on. Try it again tomorrow and see if it works, I haven't had issues again with mine.0

Make sure before you put the chest strap on that you are wetting it well. And make sure it is in the right position and the straps fit snugly. If all those things are ok, then yes, call them!0

my seems to be registering ok but it beeps at me all the time...why does it do that? does it mean its NOT working properly?? I wasn't really sure why it was beeping0 -
