Hi guys,
I do fine with my diet during the day but I really lose it at night! I eat 500 to 1000 calories extra at dinner these days! I recently lost 13 pounds but I've reached a plateau at 117 pounds so I tried to maintain for a while. However I started overeating and stopped exercising so I reduced my calories to 0.5 lb weight loss to motivate myself to eat less but its not working!! What should I do? I hate exercising but I love to eat and im afraid ill go back to my old weight or get even heavier! Please help me motivate myself.

Thanks!
P.s. it's gotten so bad lately that I've stopped logging at night altogether to avoid looking at the excess calories. I forced myself to log tonight and im shocked by how much I ate!!

it looks like youre eating the right things but in wrong portions. try more snacks during the day and then you wont feel so hungry during a meal. maybe this format will work for you,

    breakfast -

    morning snack -

    lunch -

    afternoon snack -

    dinner -

    evening snack -

my diary used to look like yours because i would starve myself all day until a meal and then just binge because i was so hungry. many small portioned meals/snacks throughout the day will really help. i didnt think they would for me but they did. i hope you find something that works because it sounds like you genuinely want to get fit/healthy. good luck!

I have the same exact problem! Some things that help me is to brush my teeth/wear my retainer early in the night so that I force myself not to eat too late. Also, drink water after you eat your dinner so that you aren't as hungry! As far as exercising goes, what helps me at the gym is to watch TV as I run, the time just flies by! I used to run for about 30 minutes a day and got super bored, but these days I have been able to kick it up to an hour a day at a pretty moderate pace! If running isn't your thing, try elliptical or biking! Even better, find a friend who will do outdoor activities with you, like hiking! Any activity is great for your body!

Hope this helped and good luck! :)
  • That makes no sense....when its dark I eat worse....well then you either aren't ready to be serious, need to refill ur diet, or eat and enjoy....up to you. I can be organizes all day but at night I can't? Ok.

This is how I break mine down too. I try to have 200-300 cal bfast and lunch so I can have 100-200 snacks in between the 2 which leaves me at like 400-600 cals for din and snack 3 as I have mine. If you work out, even just a little bit, you can burn some of the extra cals you ate! I'm not some exercise freak, but I know I need to exercise somewhat to help with the weight loss. You can do it too! Or maybe try and have those 100 cal snacks? Good luck! I think you can do it as long as you really try!
